What is a “scheduled maintenance service”?

Hyundai vehicles are designed, built and engineered to maximise performance and minimise maintenance, so you spend more time on the road and less in the workshop. For most of our passenger vehicles, the scheduled service interval is 12 months or 15,000 kilometres – whichever comes first.


For the Veloster SR Turbo, Sonata Turbo and vehicles driven under demanding driving conditions listed at http://www.hyundai.com.au/owners/maintenance-and-service/demanding-driving-conditions, the service interval is 6 months or 7,500 kilometres – whichever comes first.


Scheduled maintenance services are recommended by Hyundai and specified in the Service Passport. You can find Service Schedules for vehicles from MY12 onwards by visiting www.hyundai.com.au/owners/maintenance-and-service/service-schedule-tables.
